As of right now RoM guild functions are offline due to frogster server problems.  A reset is expected for Tuesday night, please be patient and recruitment should be starting up again on Wednesday.

In the end I would prefer r/k or s/k over an m/p any day

I was considering a S/K, but I was told that R/K's could solo instances just as well as them, I don't see how, so far I'm having difficulties with elites, but then again, I'm a new player, with new player gear, if I can load up some bleeds and not 1 hit killed then I'm good to go, but most elites so far have been able to kill me before I can bleed and wound them.

All in due time. R/K has insane dps with high pdef in the end making it quite the powerhouse.

Another issue I'm having is getting a good dagger, been using the same dagger basically since the beginning, I found a good axe, but then that would be sacrificing my dot's like bleed and wound. Elites have only been dropping wands for me.
